2013 has come and gone.
What a year it was
For fun, I put together this little video with about 30 favorite pictures from 2013
The pictures stream thru in 15 seconds
The pictures stream thru in 15 seconds
It may make you dizzy…
(Hopefully not)
(Hopefully not)
I do not think I have mastered the video making in 15 seconds yet.
But give it a try by clicking over at this LINK

As 2014 lays before us, one word comes to my heart and mind
I want to have JOY
Despite my circumstances, I want to rejoice and have a spirit of JOY
The other morning I woke up to this, below
I had some quiet moments on a rooftop to start off the day
It was quite easy to feel joy and anticipation for the day ahead starting with this sight
Today, I woke up to THIS
It was not quite as easy to look with joy and anticipation on the day ahead.
“Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS.
Again, I say REJOICE”
Paul scribed that in Philippians 4.4
I have learned as of late that joy maybe is not natural
Atleast for me, in this season, it is not
I believe for me it is a choice
I need to fight for it
And I need to choose to see Him in each and every detail of the day
This next year holds a lot of changes for us
I will share them as time passes
I am asking my Father to help me to pursue JOY
Despite my situation
Despite gorgeous panorama when I wake up OR a counter top covered in dirty, greasy vessels
May I see Him and may I spread His aroma in the midst of it all
Joy is a fruit of the Spirit
Not a fruit of the flesh
The Spirit and flesh are constantly battling against one another
I pray for more understanding of the Spirit and His fruits in this upcoming year.
I ask this all girded with undeniable grace
Trusting that even in moments that I fail, He is all sustaining.
