thankful…baby adam fund update

November 28, 2011

Adam with dad this morning. Doesn’t he look so good?? He is cooing and following our voices these days. So fun!

“As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
‘I tell you the truth,’ he said, ‘this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on’ ” luke 21

$66,000.

Wow.

We are so close! We just need to get to $100,000 and we can have the surgery tomorrow!

Adam with my dad. This is one of my favorites.

I am humbled by all of you.

Friends from highschool whom I have not seen in years, friends abroad and close to home. Each of you, out of pockets small from earthly economies shrinking, have given sacrificially. Like the widow, you have given even when you could probably think of so many other things to do with that bit of money.

People, thank you.

But most of all,
Behold!
On bended knee, Behold!
Him!

Behold! Behold He who with nail pierced hands, paid it all.
Behold! Him who brought precious Adam into this world.
Behold! Him who moved mine and Raja’s heart to adopt this child.
Behold! Him who ordained passports, visas, and plane tickets.
Behold! Him who placed the stars in the sky each night
Behold! Him who ‘journeys to the springs of the sea and walks in the recesses of the deep’
Behold! He who ‘enters the storehouses of snow and sees the storehouses of the hail.’
Behold! He who is the Father of the rain and from Whom’s comes the ice and the morning dew.
Behold! Him who was slain before the earths foundations.

So I have hope.
You can have hope.
So Adam has hope today.

Rejoice! I can hardly speak as I see His hand of faithfulness.

We have $66,000 raised.

If we get just a little bit further today, we can go thru with the first surgeries tomorrow.

Call on His Name. For He is faithful!

Mimi (my mom) with Adam. She calms him as only she can

Hope Aunty with Adam. This is his favorite placement;)
My precious family who Adam got to spend more time with over Thanksgiving. James,on the right, was greeted by a long stream of urine from Adam. That was fun. Adam hated the wind outside so we had to keep him warm inside during this photo…I dont have the one with Adam. Will update when I get it;)

    Jessica:
Your family is so precious. God has answered so many prayers and I know he will continue to do so for little Adam. He is so blessed to have you and Raja as parents. Love all the pictures of Adam and his new family.

Love and prayers will continue coming your way.
