Schedule update

December 21, 2011

It is a beautiful overcast evening here in Maggie Valley.

We have been so blessed to spend a week up here with my family in a large wooden cabin surrounded by beautiful mountains, a perfect view from the hot tub;)
It has been restful and rejuvenating.
Thank you for your prayers.
We had a follow up appt yesterday with 2 different eye doctors.
Guess what??
GOOD REPORT! No new L eye surgery to update you on;)
They said everything looks good and the eyelids are healing well.
They are starting to plan out the second skin graft on the eyelids, the cleft lip,  separating Adam’s feet, and the beginning of the nose reconstruction.
The plan after that is to return to India and then come back for the next needed surgery.
Please pray for:
-Continued healing as we are away for Christmas
-Blessed time of fellowship with the family and friends
-Blessed Christmas for Raja’s parents and siblings back in India, as we cannot be with them for the holidays
-Continued financial provision for future surgeries
-Wisdom in decisions in future (such as return to India, me pursuing temporary nursing jobs while here, etc.)
-God’s name to continue to be glorified thru Adam’s life
Adam meets Aunt Angie! And Uncle Wes, Cameron, and Mattox!

Early morning with Adam’s cousins (dad Raj was sleeping)

All my siblings with Raj and I before going skiing!

Uncle James holding Little Bird
He loves cuddlin;)

especially with dad;)

Getting ready for bath time…we believe Adam secretly likes it because the
first 1 min he sighs in relief, but then he remembers that most babies
cry during bath time…so that he reverts to crying…

He definitely has some of the softest most beautiful skin! And
its starting to brown a little bit;)

I'm praying for you! What a lucky little boy for sure, to have such great parents, of course. But also, and perhaps moreso, how lucky are you two, to be gifted such a great kiddo. I'm SURE difficult days will lay ahead, and I'm SURE you'll wonder, even regret (it's okay, even us with perfectly able children sometime regret it all, it's called humanity)the situation you find yourself in but I also can promise you you'll never run out of love, and love will always be enough. God has you in his hands, but also at the top of his heart and the tip of his tongue. I'm falling in love with you, all three of you, and I wanted you to know I care, and am wearing some holes in my rug for you. Love to you, kiss that baby for me. Sara

Not exactly sure how I wound up on your blog, but I am so touched by your story. Praying for you both and your precious baby boy. May God bless you and keep you all of your days, Adam. Baby boys are so special!
