adam and pneumonia/ in need of prayer

hello to all.

I just wanted to ask you all to join us in asking Abba Father to bring healing to adam’s little body.
We traveled 50 km north of our home to a city called Musoorie (beautiful place…you should google it;) ) to spend 5 days here.

Mainly, Raja needed to be here on Monday to start a once a month psych clinic at a partner hospital.
Since Saturday afternoons and Sundays are his off time, we coupled them with his clinic day, took 1 day leave (Tuesday), and have Wednesday as a national holiday (India’s Independence day)…so we could have a glorious vacation;)

However, on Sunday Adam started having a nasty cough, fever, and some other signs of possible pneumonia. We brought him into the hospital MOnday morning for chest xray, lab work, etc…and it definitely was. He was admitted yesterday, last night, and today.

We were staying at a lovely Australian family’s house, but have had to move down the mountain, next door to the hospital, so we could be more accessible to the hospital. So we are now staying with a beautiful family (husband is head of hospital and his wife is a teacher in town). Since we are close by and familiar with the care Adam needs, we brought Adam out of the hospital to our room here. He is resting better now, but still in the beginning of recovery.

It is scary to see your baby so sick and not know what to do. Please pray for us to have patience, strength,  love, and wisdom…and any other thing you may find beneficial;)

Pneumonia is a scary thing and I know the statistics of it in children in the developing world…but I also know the Author of Life and Sustainer of each breath we take. So I am praying that second thing would consume my heart and mind rather than the first;)

It is funny, when we are down the mountain, at home…everyone tells us to come up here bc the climate is so much nicer and Adam will love it (which he did last time we were here).

But, when we are up here, everyone here is asking why we came up and didnt stay down bc the weather is not good.

It is overwhelming at times….we covet your prayers, words, and the Word shared.
