Yesterday was our first full day of appointments. We saw the pediatric surgeon, had a renal US, and met with the plastic surgeon, and pediatrician.
It was a little overwhelming being back in a place that was packed with such intensity for us last year.
So many unknowns.
So much need for raising money, etc.
So much fear with Adam needing a trach.
So much of…so much;)
BUT
At the same time…it was so encouraging
To see the doctors who cared for Adam so well.
To see their excitement over his improvement.
To hear comments like “I can’t believe this is the same baby!”
And “he is so bright”.
Comments like that, they make me swell with gratitude and excitement.
adam waiting for the US. thankful for cool toys to entertain;) |
We have more appointments next week.
Just to remind you, the main surgery this time is the cleft palate.
There may be some eye surgery and a few other things.
But I will surely keep you posted.
Continued prayers for appointments would be great.
Adam definitely KNEW he was in the hospital and threw a royal fit for almost the whole length of time.
But it was still impressive to the docs;)
thankful for this father loving his sons so well |
Also, we are still in the trenches with fundraising.
We still have a need of $150,000
As of now, we still know the estimate of $10,000.
We have a meeting on Monday at 3pm to discuss finances, goals, what is left needed, ideas for raising, etc.
Please continue to pray.
Please consider giving.
Please share.
Until we have the needed funds, Adam cannot proceed with surgeries needed.
But dont be overwhelmed.
Really, dont;)
Ok?
Because we are telling ourselves the same thing.
“do not worry about TOMORROW…if He cares for the grass of the field and the birds…
HOW MUCH MORE will He care for Adam?
Because if He began this work,
He WILL finish it.
Paul said it
In philippians.
And He is faithful
We love you all.
