First of all: The BOOKS ARE PRINTED!
“Adam the Elephant” has been printed. We have 1000 copies to sell and distribute.
We would love for you to have one!
For out of towners..there is a way to purchase on eBay below:
If you live in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, or Chapel Hill, we have ways to distribute them in person.
That way, more money goes to the cause rather than eBay fees.
I will share more tomorrow on who to contact in each of those cities to get a book;)
Otherwise, please use the eBay site!

So I did not get the chance to post last night, and for that, I am sorry. But we are HERE again:
Ah yes. The hospital. Don’t be fooled. This is not an old picture from Christmas time.
But memaw gave Adam some Christmas lights (because he loves them so much).
And father Raja decided they would be a nice touch to his hospital stay.
And boy was he right!
check out that head control! and boy does he love these lights. stops the tears every time! |
He has started this conducting/waving of the arms. It is quite entertaining. |
He is just overwhelmed with the clusters of colors! |
There he goes again. |
These are our 2 new, dear friends. They are Savannah and Clay. They work in the clinic Adam is seen in and visit us regularly, give us precious gifts, come and sit at the hospital in the middle of the night (after a full day of work, followed by a day of classes and more work), and just encourage us all the time. Also exciting….Savannah is volunteering with EHA this summer at the hospital where Raja and I are (just for fun, you can see our hospital here: http://hch-eha.com/)!! |
So, you may be thinking, this sure looks like a lot of fun!
What are they doing playing around in the hospital?
Well, today was a good day.
Yesterday, not so much.
We were down in Florida really enjoying time there. But Adam spiked a fever, couldnt keep his food down, was very irritable, and was having problems with a possible skin infection.
So we had to last minute drive up early yesterday morning to be admitted last night.
After a few hours in the ER, we were nice and cozy in this little room.
He has been on IV fluids to help rehydrate him, had some tests run, and is on some antibiotics.
And boy is he feeling better!
Really it was a quick recovery.
Tomorrow they will decide if they will continue with the current plan of surgery on Tuesday (cleft lip and legs).
Please continue to pray for wisdom for docs and all involved.
We love you all.
I will write more from the heart tomorrow;)
I think it will be titled “Revel while you raise”.
Over and out dear ones.
Oh! One more thing! Adam crawled today! 4.5 months old! And he crawled. Maybe an inch or two!
It was incredible!
Ok. That is all.
Revel in Him and His majesty dear ones.
For all else fades, withers, and burns.
But HE.
He remains.
Rest in that.
Sara says
Way to go Adam!!! Love you guys too!
