Dear ones, thank you for your patience
It is nearly midnight.
I (jess) have come home to rest while Raja sticks out the night with Adam
Surgery went well.
A lot of investigations
One thing I wanted to share:
How VERY excited and amazed the eye docs were with Adam’s eyes
It is truly a miracle
His eyes are in incredible shape after some severe complications that happened nearly 2 years ago
Thank you for all your prayers during that time.
All the investigations went pretty well
We have a lot of follow up appointments in weeks to come that will guide us more.
But until then, HE HAS A CLOSED PALATE!
That is amazing.
Thank you to each of you who gave.
They day could not have gone smoother.
The doctors all had good reports.
Adam is a beast and cannot be tamed
As soon as anesthesia came off, he was on full force
He is ready to be back in the game and is frustrated with all the limitations with IVs, restraints, etc
We most likely are still to be discharged tomorrow.
I shall keep you posted;)
Until then…
Some pictures from the day
Arrived at 630 am
Sporting our scarves and hats;)
coffee and colors in the wee hours of morning |
trying to keep him distracted before surgery |
poor guy had no idea what was coming |
we had amazing friends join us. Elders, pastors, friends, and we rejoice. We really had no time to even worry. |
Little brother came to visit while Adam was in surgery;) |
First surgery post op…in dads lap |
It is not Adam hospital style without some major twinkle lights;) |
Regarding pictures….
THANK YOU
So many of you shared pictures of you and loved ones in scarves and hats to honor Adam.
Thank you so very much
And I am hoping to upload a lot of the pictures we got from around the world this weekend;)
Until then, one that was so close to our heart was from our “Hadassah” in India
You may remember her story HERE or HERE
Well our sweet friend Rachel (who’s cafe “Hadassah” has a great job at right now) sent us this picture;)
She wore a scarf for Adam all day
She prayed and fasted for him throughout her day
I tell you what, this is what broke my heart into pieces today
To know Hadassah’s own story of brokenness and healing, day by day
And how she loves Adam so very much
They truly have a special bond
And when she sings songs over Little Bird, I tell you Adam is like under anethesia
She is a beautiful soul and we are grateful to have been able to have her with us in a way;)
Thank you rachel for sending this picture
