Life passes by and there is often time not a chance to jot it all down
I try to store it up in my heart, as Mary did, but I wonder if I will remember it all?
Because the Truth is, there is glory all around.
There is glory in the mundane, the tragic, and the ease.
It is there for us to behold and adore.
I have been trying to behold and adore in the midst of the struggles and the laughter.
And the past few weeks, I just have not had the chance to update you all on it;)
So I will share a few pictures and give a brief update.
We have been encouraged by so many new people joining our journey and emailing ideas and encouragement.
Thank you, from the depths of our heart.
We left NC last week, but have returned, today, for one more check up.
Adam randomly had a low fever for a few hours (like 3) last week and then it went away
Most likely, it was nothing, but we want to be safe and wise and make sure all is clear
So we have an appointment tomorrow, Tuesday, at 9am.
After that, we plan to return to Florida and spend our last few weeks there before returning to India early October.
We are certainly very eager to return home to India and see so many dear ones there.
We love you all.
Do pray for our check up tomorrow and Adam’s continued health.
Also, pray as we figure out a good type of glasses for him
And we also are starting to work with him soon on eating by mouth and speech.
We will not have access to a speech therapist, and are praying for His provision of one this next year in India;)
Also, we always need wisdom and grace to walk out this journey.
Love to you all.
More thoughts from this mama’s heart in the days to come
Once all this nomadic journeying settles, I will scribe out more for you to see;)
Oh, and we have 2 birthdays this week!
Adam will be TWO YEARS on Wednesday! What a gift it is to see each day he lives.
Elliot will be ONE YEAR on Sunday! What a joy and treasure his life is!
So we have some exciting days ahead;)

Jessica, I'm addicted to your posts. I wondered every day that I didn't see anything new, which prompted me to pray lots for all of you probably grasping at something like a new normalcy. It looks like you found some – kids playing, bath time laughs, even dinner theater out! And praying you back to Flordia…hugs!

Like most people, I came across your story when it was posted on a website.
All the best to you and your family! May little Adam continue to thrive and enjoy life and be the blessing that he is to your family and to all those who know him!

Hi Jessica,
I have been following your blog since the beginning of baby Adam's entrance into your lives. It was recommended to me by my college friend, Melanie Hayes, who has some connection to your family. At any rate, I am a speech-language pathologist and college professor with over 20 years of clinical experience. My specialty is pediatric language disorders and cleft palate/craniofacial disorders. I also happened to be married to a church planter and our firstborn son is named Adam :-). At any rate, if you'd like some tips and suggestion for working on Adam's speech/language development as you search for a local SLP, I'd be happy to consult with you. My email is pamela.terrell(at)gmail(dot)com if you would like to contact me. Blessings!
