There have been many times since September 18th, 2011, that I have been led to deeper pits of questioning.Asking Him.Longing to understand. Why He allows suffering. Why He allows bartsocas papas. Why He permits babies to have no eyelids. Why? Why? Why?Why such injustice?I needed/need answers that are understandable to my finite mind.My temporary vision. My mourning heart.Just like His […]
and being poxed by chickens is kinda hard.
I wish you were here with me as I write this.Actually, if you were here, I would not be writing. I would fix you a steaming cup of ginger- spiced chai, offer you (ladies) a head scarf, like my own, to tie back any annoyance that humidity and indian heat may be creating for the lovely […]
poxed by chickens
So our Little Bird, Adam, has been out with the chicken pox for 3 days now. Do remember him in your talks with the One on High;) He is doing quite well…just crusted over in Calamine lotions, with an occasional need for Tylenol, and about twice a day spits up a bit of his feedings. […]
on earth as it is in heaven.
Those are the words my heart has been reciting the past few days since my last train ride with a friend, Amanda, to Delhi. More on that later though. It is a late night but I just want to say that all is well on the homefront. My hands are a bit tired at the […]

journey on…
So this post is originally on our original family blog: http://soundsofthesun.wordpress.com Since our family is expanding…our journey is not solely “baby Adam’s journey”. So I am going to try to post reflective posts on our family site as well as general family updates. Then Adam updates will be on here. No fret though..many more people know […]
Moved in and Adam is ok

It is 1230am on Wednesday night here in Delhi, India.Jet lagged we are. We 3 slept 6 hours this afternoon, and are therefore wide awake now.The plane journey went well…so much favor from Him above was showered on us.All is grace and for that we are thankful. We had to check 9 bags and 90% of […]
That didn’t go well…
Hello all you who still stay tuned here:) I clearly did not follow thru very well in updating this more often. All I can say is we are pretty much consumed with packing and organizing all of Adam’sedical supplies and other items to be able to be taken to India. We are grateful for your support […]
enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts!
So, I have made an internal commitment to self to write here.More often.MUCH more often than I have been the past 2 months.Especially now as we are headed back to mother India…We want all of you, the world over, to feel connected and aware of all that is happening. For so many of you have been […]

we are rejoicing this week! Adam’s swallow test went smoothly and with ease! Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement! swallow test
at 8am Adam is going in for a “swallow test”…if he passes he can progress to eat foods by mouth (baby foods, oatmeal, etc). this would be a huge blessing…it would keep him fuller longer, he would taste, and many other good things. please lift up his little mouth and esophagus;)

stories of Him, not us.
